The reason why Black Panther & Shang Chi are good movies is because both of them literally do not care about the mcu, you can watch it without knowing anything of the mcu and it works! The characters/plot were so fleshed out and wonderful and there were no fucking quips every five seconds. The jokes didn’t overwhelm the emotional scenes or take away from them.
I highly rec people to watch Shang Chi because it def deserves all the love.

I was thinking about this and how I want to learn an instrument or a new language but probably won’t do that even though I see other people who can do that and wish I was like them. Then I thought “ well maybe if I was immortal and had all the time in the world, I would master every instrument and learn every language”, but I’m not immortal, so with my limited time, why wouldn’t I try to learn as much as possible?
